Was launched on 14 March 2000 by The Association of Chief Police Officers in Scotland when it received the support of Mr Jim Wallace MSP, Justice Minister of Scotland and Mr Dharmendra Kanani, Head of The Commission for Racial Equality in Scotland. It also has the support of The Scottish Police Federation and The Association of Scottish Police Superintendents. The Strategy is a clear and concise document that sets out the Key Areas of development for The Scottish Police Service and the Guiding Principles which should be followed.
